Hello there Buttoneers! I so excited to share with you numbers 7 & 8 in my Create 28 craft blog challenge…Woven Wall Hangings! As most of you know by now, I am a little obsessed with weaving, especially weaving on my wooden peg loom. I wanted the woven wall hangings to be one of the first items in my list of crafty goodness, but time was not on my side!
If any of you have woven on a peg loom before will know how time consuming the whole process is – especially the threading up of those long warp threads through the wooden pegs with tiny holes! Yikes!
Now I finally, after a lot of practise I feel like I am thoroughly proud of my weaving and therefore am super excited to be able to share them with you. I have certainly put a lot of thought (and a whole heap of trial and error) into how to hang and finish them off, which meant a lot of playing around with pine wood dowels and wooden beads of different colours and sizes. Phew!
